Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed-shooter arcade game where your mission is to fend off menacing enemies such as centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas with your trusty bugblaster! Challenge yourself to survive as long as possible in this thrilling and fast-paced game. Your bugblaster fires small darts at the segmented centipede, which can have between 10 and 12 body parts, including its head. Each shot that hits a segment turns it into a mushroom, and every remaining segment moves independently toward you. To successfully destroy the centipede, you must target and shoot its head first. Control your bugblaster using the keyboard or mouse to navigate and launch shots at the approaching enemies. Can you outlast the onslaught and achieve the highest score?
